Deteriorating roads will cost Oregon jobs and money, according to 2 new reports

2 reports critical of Oregon’s roads and bridges have come out saying if we don’t fix the problems now it will end up costing the state jobs and hurt the economy. The study’s, Rough Roads Ahead 2 and the 2016 Pavement Conditions Report both show without the proper maintenance and care the state will see 75 thousand fewer jobs and a loss of 150 billion dollars in Gross Domestic Product by 2036.
